New York Plastic Surgical Group is seeking customer-service-oriented professionals to join our practice!

Patient Relations Representatives will provide exceptional customer service to patients while maintaining an organized front desk. The Patient Relations Representative should be a dependable, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual who should have flexibility within their schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Associated Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer/technical skills, including knowledge of practice management software (NexTech, a plus) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities for ALL nypsgLocations:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

  • Verify and update all demographic and insurance information upon scheduling all appointments.
  • Further develop and maintain a full understanding of all NYPSG doctor preferences and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of medical insurance.
  • For all physicians, confirm patients 2 days prior to scheduled appointments.
  • Answer telephone calls and make various appointments, courteously and efficiently.
  • Prepare the office for the day.
  • Garments
  • Makeup
  • Silicone Sheeting and Scar Therapy
  • Monitor all provider schedules and confirm all appointments.
  • NYPSG products
  • Ensure “new patient” on-line registration including patient histories and demographics are done in a timely manner prior to scheduled appointments.
  • Maintain and further develop a full working knowledge of injectable products, current promotions and services offered by Deep Blue Med Spa. which include (but are not limited to):
  • Other skin care products
  • Obtain insurance information on all reconstructive consults prior to their initial visit.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in all departmental meetings, scheduled training sessions and company events to support team building.
  • Maintain and further develop knowledge of payment process (how to create a bill, how to add/apply a payment, etc.).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and business attire.
  • Adhere to Money Handling and Cash Box Protocols.
  • Must be able to open and close all NYPSG locations.
  • Assist the Patient Relations Representative Supervisor with any administrative duties he/she may need help with.
  • Check and respond to all emails throughout the day on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station/reception area at all times.
  • Have a working knowledge of our company website.

Additional Responsibilities for Satellite Offices:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

  • Handle night deposit.
  • Office opening/closing duties & protocols:
  • Set office alarm.
  • Close the office at the end of the day, remain in the office until all patients and providers leave.
  • Ensure the front desk is clean and organized.
  • Turn on phone system and put on service.
  • Walk through office and check all exam rooms, treatment rooms and bathrooms, ensuring the office is empty.
  • Open and prepare the office for the day.
  • Inform patients about upcoming Deep Blue Med Spa events; work at Deep Blue Med Spa events.
  • Maintain products in display cabinets and on the front desk, replenish when necessary.
  • Complete a weekly inventory on Deep Blue Med Spa products.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Satellite Manager, and Lead PRR.
  • Assist Satellite location Manager with any administrative duties he/she may need help with.
  • Further maintain and develop PRR skills and knowledge by working 1 day the Garden City office every other month (6 times per year).
  • Run daily financial report for all aesthetic providers for review (Charges by Input Date) and run payment/refund/adjustment by input name to complete the Daily Deposit.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
