About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support General Counsel, Project Managers, Review Managers, in all aspects of litigation.
- Manage case documents and pleadings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws, rules and regulations affecting practice areas and eDiscovery, through self-education or participation in continuing legal education, certification programs or professional associations.
- Review and coordinate the response to RFPs, RFAs, Rogs, and other discovery requests.
- Monitor matter deadlines and assist teams in meeting them.
- Format, proofread, and edit outbound documents and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate project requirements between Project Managers, Review Managers, review teams and eDiscovery attorneys.
- Assist attorneys in the presentation of digital evidence in depositions and at trial.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2 years of litigation experience at a law firm.
- Ability to learn new subject matter quickly.
- Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Ability to review and code documents in a major review platform (IPRO ADD or Relativity a plus).
- Experience with the EDRM and all aspects of discovery practice in state and federal courts.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Very, very strong spreadsheeting skills.
- Expertise with the full Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Teams, Zoom, Citrix ShareFile, Adobe Acrobat Pro, PACER, and Trial Director. Experience with Clio and Asana a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client and team relationship skills.
- Deep technical knowledge of practice-related codes, statutes and regulations.
- Excellent organization and planning capabilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Established habit of tracking time and documenting task completion.
