Job Description
Pallet Builder
Hours: 7am - 3 pm Monday - Friday
3 pm - 11 pm Monday - Friday
Primary Job Function:
To construct and place finished product in wooden crates or stretch wrap product to be loaded onto flatbed trailers for shipment to customer locations.
Job Duties:
  • Construct wooden crates using wood, nails and nail guns & staple guns
  • Perform assigned duties with quality in mind, being alert to any nonconformity and taking action to identify, record, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions.
  • Using bander, place banding around crates
  • Palletize product for stretch wrap machine.
  • Perform other work as required
  • Place boxes of finished product into crates
  • Assist in conducting inventory counts
  • Make sure returnable skids are in good condition (Repair when needed)

Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Ability to read color labels and identify products
  • Ability to use skill saw, nail guns, and banders
  • Basic math skills
  • Forklift training
  • Ability to count
Hours:
Normal work hours are 7 am - 3 pm Monday thru Friday, but can vary with business needs. Some Saturday work may be required.
