Wachter is currently accepting applications for a junior Network Engineer in our Mt. Laurel office. Ideal candidates should have the willingness to learn new skills and possess 1 year of experience in Network Engineering. This position work scheduled shift will be from
10 pm to 6 am. Must live close to Mt. Laurel, NJ as this is an in-office position. The project duration is 60-90 days.

Requirements:

  • Understanding LAN technologies, WAN technologies, the Internet, VLANS, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, NAT, IP telephony, and firewalls.
  • 1 year of Network Engineering/Network Analyst experience.
  • Cabling experience -CAT 5/6 Understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) -ideal.
  • CCNA or equivalent competency required.
  • Routing/switching knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the routing/switching and other network refresh projects
$30 - $35 an hour
