What a typical day as an Outside Plant Engineer might look like:

• Develop and maintain overall OSP system design for new market areas and existing OSP network
• Prepare and maintains detailed assignment documents of fiber projects and communicate these with fiber engineers
• Perform aerial plant engineering, including coordinating make-ready and pole loading analysis with vendors
• Perform underground fiber OSP design
• Use CAD design software to produce fiber designs and bill of materials

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You

• HSD, or equivalent education, is required
• 3-5 years outside plant design experience with 1-2 years FTTH experience, preferred
• Experience and understanding of outside plant engineering and construction techniques
• Experience working with Outside Plant Engineering in the following systems: AutoCAD, and or client-specific GIS software preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred
