Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide quality nursing care to patients attending the Outpatient programs. Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the adolescent patient population.
• Provide medical management and assessment of patients.
• Document nursing care treatment and patient’s response to treatment.

Education:Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing

Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice nursing or vocational/practical nursing (RN or LVN) from the State Board of Nursing

Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
