Job Description
Q Center is looking for a Full Time Outlet Server to join our team!
Job Summary
The Outlet Server is responsible for interacting with guests and providing the highest quality of service in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner by receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment. This position will make sure tables are kept clean and tidy when guests arrive, present menus and serve food and beverages while ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • BASSET certification.
  • Food Handler certification or equivalent.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws.
  • Customer service experience required, previous experience as a food server within a restaurant preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Ensure that tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy and clean.
  • Answer the telephone according to standards.
  • Be familiar with the operation of the Point Of Sale system.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Be familiar with fire extinguishers, locations and know how to use them.
  • Issue check and collect payment.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties according to station rotation assignment and established checklist.
  • Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Pre-bus all tables removing soiled dishes after each course.
  • Answer questions or make recommendation for complementary products; consistently upsell food, beverage and promotional items to guests.
  • Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dishroom according to established standards.
  • Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and following all money handling procedures.
  • Associates must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.
  • Respond to guest problems, complaints and accidents; communicate to management, if necessary.
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders, adhering to timing standards for products and services.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of proper preparation of cocktails.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of food and bar menus and current specials.
