Job Description
Freedom a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL is seeking a Proof Reader on the first shift in the Quality/Programming Department. Freedom is a high volume producer of Direct Mail Solutions. We offer opportunities in a solid company that has an excellent record of growth and stability. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to work in our manufacturing environment.


The Proof-Reader reviews composite proofs before sending them to the clients.


Responsibilities


  • Undertake additional tasks as seen appropriate by management.
  • Collaborate with Data Services, Quality Control and Customer Service Representatives regarding proof reading issues.
  • Compare proofs to customer supplied composites, proofs, and matrixes
  • Review proofs for accuracy and integrity


Qualifications


  • Possess proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous proof reading experience preferably within a direct mail environment is highly desirable.
  • Able to multi-task within a proof reading environment
  • Detail oriented and committed to quality
  • Intermediate computer skills within a Microsoft Windows Environment


Compensation is commensurate to experience. Monday through Friday with overtime required. Benefits include medical, dental, vacation and 401k. Interested candidates please e-mail or fax resume to 630-375-8591.
