Mid-America Transplant is searching for experienced registered nurses to save lives through organ donation management in our state-of-the-art facility. Learn advanced skills to grow your career in a new direction, contribute to the science of transplantation and save lives with a supportive, collaborative and committed team.
Exciting and Challenging Work:
This position is responsible for maximizing organ donation through the identification, evaluation, and medical management of each potential donor to ensure optimal outcomes for the waiting recipients and the selfless donor families. Responsibilities include:
  • CRRT Dialysis, Bronchoscopy, Research Projects
  • State of The Art Critical Care Unit
  • Exchange OETT, Liver Biopsy
  • Coordination of Organ Placement Nationwide
  • Central Line Placement, Dialysis Catheter Placement
  • Autonomous Clinical Care Management of Donor

Requirements:
An eagerness to learn new skills and work in a totally new environment; enjoy working on a team and being challenged with new concepts. Registered Nurse. 2+ years of either ER Experience OR 1+ year of ICU experience required. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are required. BLS or ACLS Certifications; PALS Certification a plus.

    • WEEKDAY NIGHT Option. This position works one of the following options:
      • Fifteen 12-hour on call shifts per month including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every third weekend.
      • Three 24-hour on call shifts & ten 12 hour on call shifts per month, including part of every third weekend.
  • Career ladder bonus for additional earning potential
  • Annual incentive plan in addition to annual salary increases
  • Health insurance premium options at zero out of pocket for single coverage, eligible on your first day
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan – offering up to another 9% contribution of your annual salary after one year
  • Bonus for completing orientation and bonus after one year
