Summary
The role of the Order Fulfillment Manager is to manage and oversee all activities to fulfill First run and repeat orders for Waukesha Bearings/ Cook Compression customers from inception to delivery. This role will be acting as a liaison between all internal departments and company management to best support customers' and employees' needs. The ideal candidate will be a working lead overseeing the timely execution of orders and analyzing the efficiency of teams’ and facilities’ load balancing. This role will be responsible for identifying, defining, and maintaining reports on order processing and continuous improvement of order process management for DPC.
Responsibilities
- Clarify discrepancies or unclear information between purchase orders, RFQs, drawings, technical information, and quality levels.
- Own, manage and improve regular SEOPP meetings.
- Develop strong relationships with sales personnel. Create a strong foundation based on trust through strong communication and early, frequent and accurate updates.
- Identify, define, and manage KPIs for order fulfillment with the best interest of our customers in mind.
- Effectively communicate order delivery expectations in a timely and clear fashion.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operation teams to drive customer satisfaction and maintain process effectiveness from start to finish.
- Own the on-time delivery of orders and order processing for Waukesha Bearings.
- Provide intercommunication and coordination with facilities and cross-functionally as needed.
- Provide recommendations and implement improvements in order to process.
- Proactively manage changes in order scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Monitor, minimize and mitigate all hand-offs and queue times during order processing to ensure there is no risk of steps being missed or lost.
- Report progress and status of all open orders on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Motivate team members, and influence them to take accountability for their assigned work.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve issues that might affect customer satisfaction and operational targets.
- Any other job functions as assigned to support the organization.
- Facilitates root causes and countermeasures of order delays and change orders.
Qualifications
- Lean experience in E2E order processing
- 7-10 years of project management experience, including all aspects of process development and execution
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience working in the sealing or rotating equipment industry is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Highly motivated individual with attention to detail
- Strong familiarity with software programs such as Syteline, MS office and general IT tools
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to react to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
- Great leadership and facilitation skills
- International project experience is preferred
- Experience and comfort managing multiple orders in parallel
- Effective and clear communication is a critical requirement for this position
