Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in the engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aggregate and mining industries, with experience in drilling, blasting, and plant processing. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations and ensuring that we are meeting our production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure that all employees are working effectively and efficiently
• Monitor production levels and make adjustments as necessary to meet production goals
• Continuously evaluate our operations and make improvements as necessary to increase efficiency and profitability
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that all employees are properly trained
• Work closely with other departments, including sales and marketing, to ensure that we are meeting customer needs and expectations
• Manage budgets and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Manage and oversee all aspects of our operations, including drilling, blasting, and plant processing
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues quickly and effectively
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees to achieve their best
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, with a track record of successfully managing teams and improving operational efficiency
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required
• 3+ years of experience in the aggregate and mining industries, with a strong background in drilling, blasting, and plant processing
