Corrigan Moving Systems is looking for a full-time, Hospitality Logistics Operations Manager to work out of our Grand Rapids, MI office.
As an Operations Manager for the Hospitality Logistics team, you will be responsible for internal operational functions, project management, budgeting and billing, service level delivery and client relationship management. You will also have oversight of support staff, as well as contracted employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel: approximately 30-40% travel is expected for the role. This will be meeting with different vendors, customers, subcontractors, installers, and managers. You will also complete site survey’s and address any emergent issues, when needed.
- Billing and Budgeting: Monthly billing oversight, including completion and submission of necessary forms, spreadsheets and addressing customer queries and issues.
- Project Management: Responsible for budgets, sourcing vendors and installers, scheduling, site surveys, inventory management and various meetings.
- Internal Operations Functions: Oversee and train (when necessary) 2-4 support staff members, investigate and resolve issues for customers, communicate frequently with managers, customers, staff and contractors, update and provide various reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) and manage payroll for sub-contractors and vendors.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in hospitality or construction management experience.
- 5+ years in proven project management experience.
- Advanced to Expert knowledge of MS Office platform (Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
- Leadership: Knowledge of and ability to employ effective strategies that motivate and guide other members within our business to achieve optimum results.
- Problem Solving: Ability to overcome obstacles utilizing critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, and information processing and find a solution that is effective for both the customer and business.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with verbal and written communication to all levels of the organization and business contacts.
- Experience with Projectmates, or other similar construction platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or project management or applicable experience, preferred.
- PMP or PMI license, preferred.
- Initiative: Taking decisive action and initiating plans independently to address problems, improve business operations, and achieve goals.
