Operations Manager, Global Business Affairs (NY)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position supports the Global Commercial Content Business Affairs team with multiple operations functions. This includes: tracking and management of revenue pipelines across multiple global markets, working with global stakeholders to document policies and processes, and managing the day-to-day operational requirements for the team. As part of the Business Affairs team, this person will sit at the intersection of all departments that execute commercial content globally.
The ideal candidate for the Manager role will feel comfortable taking a proactive role shaping the future of our global commercial content business while navigating a busy, matrixed media organization. Experience working with branded content and/or sponsored editorial content is a big plus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accountable for the implementation and adoption of those resources across 11 global markets. Develop relationships with local market teams in order to identify and solve for issues and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct onboarding and new systems training to team members and provide ongoing operational support.
  • Facilitate improvements to existing workflows and create clear, concise guidance to train team members.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams including Creative, Production, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Editorial, and more.
  • Support Senior Director, Branded Operations on high-priority projects and general departmental needs.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders on the creation of policies, processes, and systems that guide our commercial content business.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational and record-keeping skills, and attention to detail.
  • 3-5 years in Operations or relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of basic financial terminology within the media or publishing industry highly desirable.
  • Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000
  • Experience in financial and project management softwares and knowledge of Airtable a plus.
  • Experience within a global or multi-faceted organization highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in rolling out new processes to large teams.
