We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, dependable, and hands-onOperations Director to lead the Bay Area wash hub. This leader will oversee thehub team and be responsible for all operational aspects to ensure the seamlessexecution of the r.Cup reuse program. This role is ideal for a leader who is a self-starter, self-motivated, comfortable in an ever-changing and fast-pacedenvironment, and has an appetite for self-growth and continuous improvement.The Operations Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized wash hub.
- Cultivate a cohesive and collaborative environment based on trust, empowerment, and accountability.
- Represent r.Cup in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
- Forecast venue demand based on upcoming events and develop daily plans to ensure a steady supply of sanitized cups are available.
- Monitor, analyze, and deliver wash hub KPIs and financial goals.
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on inventory management, wash-cycle productivity, staffing coverage, delivery and pickup logistics, scheduled maintenance of equipment and trucks, and all hub administrative activities.
- Performs all aspects of team management including hiring, training, scheduling, annual performance reviews, coaching, and implementing corrective action plans for employees.
- Work closely with local Sales to set up new venue locations, including staff training, bin delivery and placement, container stocking, and signage production/placement.
- Analyze and propose methods of sustained quality and productivity increases
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cup inventory to support customer invoicing.
Key Qualifications:
- Articulate, engaging and persuasive communication style.
- Conditions.
- Highly motivated individual with 5+ years management experience in the manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution industries.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams, manage a multi-phase workflow, and provide clear direction of what is required.
- Experience operating a box truck with a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Proven track record of process improvement and change management success.
- Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or frequently changing
- Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating a pallet jack.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Exemplary verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
