Hydroz is a new venture headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI which specializes in providing and servicing water purification systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Through deploying state-of-the-art advancements in Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology, Hydroz provides businesses and people with a healthy/better alternative to tap and bottled water by eliminating the need for plastic bottles which in turn reduces plastic waste in our environment. Our bottle-free water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers and coffee brewers, purify the existing water supply to provide reliable and convenient purified water to a broad mix of businesses, including government, education, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and other large commercial customers.


Founded in 2019, Hydroz has quickly become the region leader in bottle-less water cooler and purification systems while also offering integration solutions for other office appliances which require water for consumption. We currently service customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.



Position Summary:


We are currently seeking anOperations Coordinatorfor our Grand Rapids, MI Office area.The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Hydroz and its subsidiaries run smoothly and efficiently in their daily operations, tasks, and projects. The operations coordinator will be responsible for ensuring and improving the overall organization of the operations team while working closely with other teams to help support them in their efforts. This team member is crucial in helping with individual and overall company success! The ideal candidate works well with others, feels comfortable both leading initiatives and supporting others with various projects/tasks, is a problem solver who takes initiative and is not afraid to fail, and someone who is an excellent communicator in fast and slow-paced environments.

Although a bachelor's degree is preferred, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of business, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, is a quick learner, feels comfortable in using and learning various computer software’s (Pipedrive, Trello, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, etc.; or feels comfortable learning/adopting new software). Most importantly, the ideal candidate will be a team player, show leadership qualities, and likes to have fun in the workplace.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining operations documents and reports.
  • Assisting with the management of daily operational activities.
  • Assisting in the planning and organizing of conferences, events, staff training, and assisting in employee engagement activities.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as making travel arrangements, answering phones, scheduling meetings, strong organizational skills (physical and digital), comfortable making phone/zoom calls, etc.
  • Logging expenses and incoming payments.
  • Managing office supplies and the maintenance of office equipment.
  • Limited travel from time to time
  • Assisting with service management by creating service tickets, tracking service calls, and resolving issues.
