The purpose of an Irrigation Tech is to inspect, audit, adjust and repair the systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency and conserve water within the community.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Replaces or repairs irrigation valves.
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• May assist in various maintenance activities as required.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Performs snow removal, as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
• Up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending,
• Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required
• Knowledge of manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
• Ability to install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
• Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.

Pay and Benefits

$15.00 to $19.00 hour based on Education and experience

The purpose of an Onsite Maintenance Assistant is to inspect, audit, adjust and repair the systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency and conserve water within the community.

• Plus other work related tasks as needed
• General maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout the Community Associations.
• Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings and structures.
• Advising supervisor of needed repairs, improvements, and safety issues.
• Ensure completion of work orders using work order system.
• Understanding of Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Cleaning, Gutters, Locks, Plumbing and Painting
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance.
