Provide student services and career counseling support for Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) credit and non-credit programs and courses. Create online learning communities to enhance the student experience in each program/course. Work with PACE program coordinators, enrollment coaches and advisors regarding content, resources, and student engagement in an online environment. Develop, implement and assess retention strategies in the online environment. Under the guidance of PACE’s Marketing team, share content and posts in learning communities and social media communities. Advocate for content that will resonate with students in the learning communities. Provide career coaching to current students in credit and non-credit programs. Research and track professional development and work opportunities for PACE students. Contribute content related to career counseling and student experiences for marketing efforts and content development. Analyze and track student engagement, retention and other data. General supervision from PACE Student Services & Recruitment Manager.

Bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience in relevant field, utilizing knowledge of advising and counseling techniques for building learning communities and providing general student support. Experience working with students/clients in a university setting. Demonstrated experience with online learning technology and learning management systems; social media platforms; web tools and sales practices using customer relations management system required. Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and critical problem-solving skills required. Attention to detail required. Competency with data tracking, analysis, reporting and general software required. Knowledge of the applicable federal and state regulations. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment required. Commitment to diversity and inclusion required.

Familiarity with the educational needs of adult and pre-college (high school) learners highly desirable. Career coaching background highly desirable. Understanding of principles of best practices related to online learning and teaching highly desirable.
