Job Description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for an Online English language teacher -a Portuguese Speaker to provide customized lessons to our clients. This is a remote position. Please send your resume in English.


Job Information:

  • Native and other spoken languages Portuguese
  • Preferred start date: Aug 14th
  • Student’s language needs and goals: Improve grammar, day-by-day activities, vocabulary
  • Availability (weekdays and times: flexible): Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 pm
  • Current target language level: advanced
  • Lesson Duration: 1h
  • Lesson Frequency: twice a week
  • Student’s location/time zone: (GMT-4)


Responsibilities:

  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
  • Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
