Swoon is hiring for our higher education client in Scottsdale, AZ but this can be a fully remote position.

This is a 3-6 month contract to hire opportunity with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Community Manager to grow and engage our online community supporting our newest alumni. The ideal candidate is someone that has a passion for helping young people thrive in their career and life and has deep knowledge of developing supportive communities and facilitating peer mentorship. The Community Manager will need to flex their project management skills, build strong relationships with our alumni and mentors, as well as grow and engage with online peer support communities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on content creation: Honing your blurb-writing and content curation skills. Organizing, gathering, and preparing UGC, existing content, and new content
• Community moderation, alumni and volunteer management, and recruitment across multiple platforms. Including leveraging Discord bots and AI tools to make your job easier and the community stronger.
• Create & update user guides and topic pages, community FAQs and policies
• Develop our community strategy, engagement and growth plan from the ground up, to create a supportive and engaging community,
• Create and organize community events to engage and grow online communities including peer learning circles, live guest events and courses, and other online activities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and focus on community. Act as the voice of the community to help prioritize the product roadmap.
