Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and assimilation activities for new hires within the assigned sector
- Champion a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and promote an environment where team members feel valued and respected
- Monitor and act on survey data from onboarding and exiting employees
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned
- Drive employee engagement and retention within the first year
- Conduct new hire onboarding training and support new employee setup
- Contribute to a positive new hire experience by acting as a new hire advocate and the "go-to" person for new hires
- Audit and follow up on all new hire training, ensuring it is completed in the appropriate timeframe
- Work closely with leaders and HRBPs to schedule and execute new hire assimilation and engagement events
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Government services industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR onboarding or HR operations role
- Experience using HRIS automated platform for self-boarding new hires and rehired employees
- Knowledge and familiarity with various onboarding practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks; strong attention to detail
- Previous Talent Acquisition or HR generalist experience
