The Opportunity: On Site Counselor

• Full-Time position with Benefits
• Virtual and/or In Person Flexibility
• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 / year

You will meet with our students for clinical therapy sessions and support the overall wellness goals of the School. You will assist with educating faculty and staff on Mental Health topics, and support with students in crisis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with counseling staff on other campuses
• One on one confidential meetings with students, using accurate and private record keeping
• Regular participation in various on-campus wellness events including orientation, graduation, and group-oriented events including but not limited to: group counseling, presentations related to mental health or wellness, etc
• Regular participation in faculty and staff consults, outreach, and educational meetings related to topics such as mental health or wellness
• Membership in CARE team to assist with students in distress

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in CA
• At least one year of work experience in private counseling
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills as well as a positive attitude
• Must be a licensed LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or Psychologist

Preferred experience:

• Preference will be given to those with personal or professional experience with international or immigrant populations, and those with prior experience in a post-secondary educational setting.
