Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will support the project delivery team in planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of assigned projects, working with builders, and designers in the most dynamic delivery environment in the industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Run weekly owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Discover and resolve interface conflicts between the company and trade partners, as well as among trade partners.
  • Assist the project manager and superintendents in the delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Assist in monthly margin analysis.
  • Update and maintain the project records.
  • Accumulate all necessary data and prepare the monthly owner-pay applications.
  • Develop/manage the cost control and labor recap in conjunction with the project manager and project superintendent.
  • Track and report on the progress of the project.
  • Process and estimate all potential change orders and requests for information.
  • Manage the timely acquisition of materials and equipment and field-initiated purchasing.
  • Assist in the development and management of the project schedule.
  • Assist the company's field supervisors with the interpretation of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and questions for and from the architect/engineer.
  • Participate in job site safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc.


Required Education:

Bachelor's degree. in construction management, engineering, architecture, or building science.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong, effective communication and interpersonal skills, as the successful candidate must liaise with managers and convey information to peers, and other internal and external customers.
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting large commercial construction projects.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Working knowledge of project management software including Prolog, Primavera, and Autodesk Suite.
  • Excellent time management skills, since he or she must ensure that projects are completed within given deadlines.


Previous documented construction internship experience is highly preferred!!
