Rehabilitation Specialists California seeks applicants for a full-time Occupational Therapist position at our facility in Santa Cruz, CA. The Occupational Therapist will perform occupational therapy to clients as ordered by a physician, provide evaluations and update treatment plans as needed. Specific duties include: training of occupational therapy staff assistants regarding treatment plan implementation; include staff and family caregiver training in treatment plans as appropriate; train staff assistants on how to provide for the needs of a patient during and after therapy; consult with rehabilitation team to select activity programs or coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities; communicate regularly and as needed with other team members and on-call therapists regarding patient care issues; coordinate scheduling issues with team members and the staffing coordinator as needed; participate in continuing education opportunities and meet the continuing education requirements for licensure; attend company meetings and facility meetings as needed. Salary: $85,218-$106,080/year .
