Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Therapy Works

In response to a physician’s referral, provides OT evaluations; develops, coordinates, and executes effective OT services; and makes appropriate referrals and coordinates care. OT will provide direct patient care to individuals as their expertise allows and caseload demands. Coordinates and provides patient/family education. Participates in education programs and performs non-patient care responsibilities as assigned. Participates in program development and in the QA/CQI program. Consults and coordinates with interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive treatment. Pursues continuing education and assists in the marketing of department services.
Qualifications: Current licensure with the South Carolina State Board of Occupational Therapy. Certification in CPR in basic life support. Must be able to transfer an average adult patient at a weight of 150 pounds.
