Nurse Practitioner-Women's Health Jobs

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning,

implementation, evaluation, treatment and documentation of medical and nursing

care. The Nurse Practitioner administers care within the scope of hospital

policies and procedures, National GYN/Infertility guidelines and

Massachusetts state regulations and standards of practice issued by The

American Nurses Association and other professional organizations. The RN

collaborates/cooperates with the medical director and nursing staff and other

hospital and health care disciplines for promotion of health, to the optimal

level of wellness, for patients, families and the community.

The NP in the Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgical department works with the providers to support the routine Gyn care of the patient population, assessment of patients both post procedure and post operatively. The NP in this role participates in the initial management of the patient being referred for Fertility issues. This clinic participates in Research and the NP will also help support this activity.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in the

Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Evidence of continued education and professional development.

MS required

certification in Women's health preferred.

CPR (BLS) certification required.

Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of the adult female patient.
