Electrical Superintendent Traveler - 1232185

We are hiring traveling Electrical Superintendent for a leading national electrical contractor that specializes in large scale commercial / retail such as Walmart, Target, large grocery chains, and other significant "big box" retailers. This is a direct hire position with top hourly pay, bonus on project performance, truck allowance, fuel card, paid time during driving, health insurance, 401k, housing, & per diem provided.

• This is a traveling position (14 & 7 likely rotation working 45-60 hours per week with OT) working Sunday to Thursday (Night Shift), specifically focused on large scale. Client providing either nationwide flights or will pay full pay rate while driving, plus all housing, per diem, and vehicle costs. For candidates who are within driving distance, they may drive home on their off days.

We will accept people from any state, however, our largest immediate priority is someone licensed in either : Iowa or Minnesota or South Dakota or Nebraska.
Applicants must have experience in running large scale projects, coordinating with other trades, general contractors, and subcontractors.
Desired Skills/experience
Compensation is determined pending qualifications.

• 5+ years of experience running new construction or remodel projects
• Layout and coordination of underground, overhead, wall rough, etc.
• Manage up to 15 people
• Turn in required daily reports & weekly timesheets
• Coordination with the General Contractor's Superintendent and other trades
• Operate various equipment (i.e. backhoe, trencher, scissor lift, forklift, etc.)
• Coordination with Utility Company providers
• Maintain contract schedule and budget with Project Manager
• Read and understand blueprints
• Implement safety standards and procedures
• State Masters or Journeyman Card (preferred)
• Competent with various project management software and electronics
