Job Description
Job Responsibilities


With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.


This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625.


Provides psychiatric services to patients providing subsequent PMA services on a routine or emergency basis to include psychiatric assessment/evaluation, medication management, medication administration, treatment planning, community liaison and staff training. Must have prescriptive authority.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


State Requirement: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing at the master's level or doctoral level acceptable to the Board to include clinical experience.


Agency/Center Requirements: A master's degree in nursing, licensure as Registered Nurse and hold official recognition as a Nurse Practitioner from the SC Board of Nursing and 5 years of experience with mental health patients. Must have prescriptive authority.
