Nurse Outpatient Surgery Jobs

Position Summary:

Our 4-OR suite Surgery Center is looking for RNs who enjoys a fast paced environment. We typically turn our rooms over in less than twenty minutes. Surgeries that are performed at the surgery center are: ENT, ocular plastics, orthropedics, cataracts, plastics, podiatry and gyn.
The incumbent is defined as a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. The registered nurse provides patient and family care based on the nursing process and consistently provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care in the operating room suite. As a professional, the registered nurse is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining personal professional development.
The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room
• Other certifications may be required
• Current California RN License
• This is a temporary full time position

• Pediatrics experience
• Skills related to laboratory and x-ray order entry, and online documentation preferred
