Essential Occupational Health and Safety, LLC is a small but growing business. We are family-owned, inclusive, and supportive. A large part of what we do is compensation and pension exams for veterans in need of these examinations for the VA. We are looking to pprovide these services to the veterans in Monroe, where there is a huge need for providers willing and able to perform these administrative examinations for the VA.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to perform these exams on for veterans on a part-time contract basis. Two days a week from 9 to 6, the NP would be scheduled to see veterans for administrative (non-treatment) exams. Typical volume is 6-10 patients per day with 12 as the absolute maximum. Pay is a flat $400 per day. The only thing you would need to bring is your stethoscope. Laptop, goniometer, EHR will all be provided. All notes must be completed in the EHR within 48 hours.

Requirements: NP licensed to practice in Louisiana. No experience required...new grads are welcome to apply. Once you have accepted the position, we will begin all necessary credentialing right away. In order to allow for credentialing and for necessary notice to be given to your current employer, employment will officially commence 6 weeks after position acceptance.
