  • LOCATION: Remote - United States only
  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $90 – $100/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Short term

Skills:
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
  • Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Education/Experience:
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
What You’ll Be Working On
Note: this is a month opportunity
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc, or any other non-IT-based project.
Years of Experience:
  • 8-10+ years
Key projects/typical day in the role:
  • This team supports payroll, so this person will come in and help
  • Creating accountability, digging into work, ensuring all teams are doing their portion of the work, liaison between multiple different teams/stakeholders
  • This role will drive project plans - designing solutions, building solutions, testing solutions, data, training
  • Project management - delivering projects against milestones
  • Deliver transformation roadmap which is system implementations as well as outsourcing
Top Must have skills:
  • Some level of proficiency with project management - preference for someone with a PMP
  • Proven finance transformation project delivery with measurable ROI
Nice to Have skills:
