💻 What We Want You To Do
You will be joining an organization at an exciting time of accelerated growth where you will be pivotal in developing our offline sales channels and our channel partners’ database.
As Channel Manager you are responsible for creating and growing the division, plus generating new revenue through dealership partners and selling the companies’ products (furniture) through channel partners all around the globe.
You must enjoy building distribution networks, fostering great relationships with dealers and partners on different continents, being present at events (offline and online) and more.
The goal is to help build and nurture our database of global partners and improve these partnerships, resulting in the growth of our company’s total revenue achieved through offline sales channels.
As we expand, another major responsibility will be working closely with Sales in Negotiating with new & current partners, HR in hiring a diverse range of A-player team members and other Account Management related personnel.
Requirements

Your performance will be measured against these Objective Key Results (OKRs):
  • Approve final decisions before implementing them
  • Monitor the results and come up with needed improvements and optimizations
  • Define the Channel Management Strategy and programs in the furniture industry as an ecommerce brand
  • Ensure distributors meet all requirements of quality, quantity, brand image etc.
  • Implement Dealer agreements, monitor dealer performance against agreements, refine dealer recruitment process, build dealer growth models
  • You will be responsible for systemising all repeatable tasks into clear SOPs
  • Takeover and manage channel sales by developing existing channel partners and overseeing all channel partner accounts, contacts, opportunities and activities
  • Ensure Full alignment between the channel partner strategy and the company’s OKRs
  • Close communication and collaboration with other departments: Marketing, Creatives, Paid Media and Executive Board.
  • Provide channel input for the development of new products and services and implement the necessary programs
  • Manage channel competitive data and tactical channel issues, including managing channel conflict, communication strategy etc.
  • Identify market opportunities and performance gaps on the active market and define a continuous improvement plan for each of them
  • Manage and ensure adherence to metrics / KPIs for furniture sales channels
  • Create a systemic infrastructure and automate/delegate to optimize
  • Provide subject matter expert analysis, evaluation and implementation support
  • Prospecting and Acquiring New Partners around the globe (EU and USA being the main 2 targets)
  • Lead cross functional teams to implement specific agreed initiatives
🤝 You’re Perfect If You Have/Are…
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Team player, able to take on feedback and implement it quickly to achieve greater results
  • Has experience in using Agile/ Scrum methodology
  • Good at following set structures to create SOPs for all repeatable tasks
  • Proven experience in channel management, sales or account management within the ecommerce industry, more specifically within the furniture space
  • Excellent digital and computers skills
  • Ability to conduct channel research, market research and provide insight into best practices and optimizing current processes
  • Digitally savvy (able to learn new apps and use them effectively) and have a good understanding of technical aspects
  • Strong familiarity with Google Drive suite of products (Sheets, Slides, Docs etc)
  • A desire for ongoing training to strengthen and learn new skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives
  • Experience working with international distributors and dealers of furniture pieces.
  • Excellent knowledge of data visualization tools (D3.js, Recharts, Google Charts etc.)
  • A natural attraction for professional and personal self development
  • Great organization skills
  • Proficiency with other e-Commerce apps (Skype, Hubstaff, Clickup, Shopify, etc.)
  • Great verbal and written English
  • History of sales success for ecommerce brands or furniture companies, especially in fast-paced environments or scale-up companies that require teamwork and flexibility

9am - 6pm (Remote) with 1h lunch break
