The New York Post is currently seeking an experienced Night Photo Editor (M-F, 6pm-2am) to join our growing photo team.
The ideal candidate has a passion for breaking news, showbiz, politics, sports, visual storytelling, is a team player, and has a vast knowledge of current events.
Responsibilities Include
Salary Range: $31,200 – $125,000

Responsibilities Include
- Negotiating rates with agencies and freelance photographers
- Pitching photo driven stories
- Reacting to live breaking news in the evening
- Creating visually appealing composites for the homepage
- Researching live imagery for news, showbiz, sports & political events
- Producing image galleries
- Completing photo requests
- Proven research skills, including newsgathering and social media tools
- Passion for visual storytelling and The New York Post.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe photoshop
- Possess a keen eye for engaging content and a passion for producing high-quality work
- At least 3 years of experience with a multi-platform media brand, in both digital and print
- A positive attitude!
- Pro-active, an excellent communicator and team player
- Excellent news judgment with knowledge of entertainment, news and sports
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced news environment under pressure
