Job Description

:

To show our commitment to you and to assist with your transition into our organization, we will also offer up to a $5,000 sign-on and $5,000 in relocation assistance (where applicable).

You.

You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as a New Graduate Registered Nurse. Your compassion is tangible: patients feel it in the hand they hold. Families feel it in your prayers. Colleagues feel it in your support.

You know when to move quickly. When to sit quietly. When to laugh loudly.

You’re great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.

Are you a New Grad RN?

We believe in you and in fostering your nursing career by providing personalized training and development and offering innovative technologies. This 12-month residency program, starting, July 3, 2023 , will include a combination of unit-based learning with a preceptor and classroom-based training and will help provide you with additional support as you begin your nursing career with us.

Various units are participating in this program, including: Adult Psychiatric, Chemical Dependency (Detox), Float Pool, Geriatric Psychiatric, Internal Medicine/Oncology, Medical Stepdown, Trauma/Surgical/Orthopedics. Shifts available will vary based on the unit needs. More information on the shifts and units available will be given during the interview process.

Please apply to be considered for the New Grad Nurse Residency program. You must have an active RN license prior to the start of the program but are welcomed to apply prior to obtaining your RN license.

Lutheran Medical Center is part of Intermountain Health, a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on helping people live their healthiest lives. Our 249-bed community-based hospital has been awarded the highest national recognition possible for nursing excellence - Magnet designation - by the ANCC. We are proud to extend the mission of Intermountain Health by providing comprehensive, specialty care to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. Dating back to 1905, we are proud of the rich history and inspiring mission our hospital has embodied for over 110 years.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind, and social well-being. To that end, we have launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling, and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.

We.

Together we will align our mission and careers, values, and workplace. We will honor each other’s dignity and surpass the standards we set. We will encourage joy, demand safety, and take pride in our integrity.

We will laugh at each other’s jokes (even the bad ones). We will say hello and high five. We will celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.

We are proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.
