Job Description

Position Description:

ThispositionisresponsibleforprovidingAudio&Videotechnical support to County facilities. Incumbents coordinate and respond to service requests, assist with Cisco Webex/telepresence systems, and maintain Webex, Zoom, Google meeting applications.

  • Minimum of two year’s experience working with Audio/Video, Webex Systems, Zoom,Google meeting Apps.
  • PreviousexperienceworkingasanAVtechnician.
  • Threeyearsofprofessionallevelanalystandsystemsexperienceinalarge-scaleInformation Technology environment.

Required Experience:


  • Telecommunicationssystemsadministrationprinciples
  • Providecustomerservice
  • ExperienceworkingwithAvaya,Siemens,and/orRolmsystemsaplus
  • ProvidecustomersupportforAVsystemssuchasCiscoTelepresenceendpoints,projectors, tv’s, video matrix system, Crestron systems and audio systems.
  • PreviousexperienceworkingasanAVtechnician.
  • Experiencewithcreating/modifyingmacrosforCiscoTelepresenceendpointsandCrestron is a plus.
  • ExperienceworkinginaCisconetwork/TelecommEnvironmentpreferred
  • Maintainrecordsandpreparereports
  • Repairandperformpreventativemaintenanceonsystems


Responsibilities:


  • Technicalimplementationoftelecommunicationsandnetworkinfrastructures.
  • Performsotherdutiesofasimilarnatureorlevel.
  • Performconfigurationchangesasrequired;advanceleveltroubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoottechnicalproblemswiththecriticalsystems,serversandequipmentwithin a24/7/365DataCenterenvironment,handlingthemorecomplexandcriticalproblems. Responds to system emergencies as required.
  • Provides technical support to County employees using Cisco telepresence end points,projectors, microphones, video monitors, video matrix systems and audio equipment.
  • CoordinatingwithvendorsandcustomersforAVinstallationsorservicebreakfix.
  • Provides technical support to County employees using various telecommunications and network systems.
  • Designs, configures, tests, implements, and maintains a variety of hardware, software, peripheral devices, and systems.
  • Monitorsandensuressystemsmeetbusinessandperformanceneeds.
  • The individual will be required to be on-call after hours, weekends and holidays on a rotatingschedulewithotherteammembers.Theindividualwillalsoberequiredtowork with and mentor other team members.
