Network Administrator Jobs

JCS Solutions LLC (JCS) is seeking a mid-level Network Administratorwith a DOD Top Secret security clearance to work on a high-profile datacenter migration project in Suitland, Maryland.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Supportdevelopment and integration of applications and infrastructure services
• Identify improvements and introduce automation to improve processes and procedures.
• Recommendto the leadership new infrastructure technologies.
• Interfacewith third party vendors to assist with problem resolution.
• Assistwith network coordination, identify flaws and resolve system integration issues.
• Supportefforts with network design and technical direction.
• Establish, configures, administers, and manages authentication and load balancing servers.
• ProvideEnterprise network administration, configuration, and infrastructure management for servers, CISCO switches, CISCO routers, to include; wireless infrastructure, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
• Design, plan, manage, maintain, and supportnetwork-related infrastructure.
• Monitorsecurity of devices and implement new configurations and upgrades for Enterprise devices.
• Planand executeEnterprise software and hardware upgrades and revisions.
• Monitorand reportEnterprise WAN bandwidth utilization and circuit latency.
• Ensureenvironment is properly maintained and designed to support the AFNCR mission.
• Serveas focal point for problem resolution for AFNCR Enterprise network issues.
• Ensurehigh availability of critical applications and servers while meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Analyzeorganization’s needs, conducts technical research, and implements appropriate solutions to meet Government needs and comply with established standards
• Conductsystem analysis to resolve configuration and equipment problems.
• Administerand configures Cisco based network infrastructure.

Required Cert :

• Active CompTIA Security + certification

Education And/ Or Experience

• Ability to utilize CISCO PRIME
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of related experience, additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Must have experience with CISCO networking equipment.
• Possess a currentDoD Top Secret security clearance
• Ability to utilize CISCO Identity Services Engine (ISE).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a military command or operations center, particularly an Air Force Communications Focal Point (CFP)
• Experience working at the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB)
• Knowledge of Air Force, Pentagon, and/or AFNCR
