Network Administrator Jobs

Job Summary
Responsible for installation, administration, connectivity, operation and maintenance of all network equipment, servers, network operating systems and telephony computer systems. Responsible for network backups, network security including antivirus and intrusion detection. Implements and maintains security standards. Maintains inventory of all network equipment and related warrantied and service level agreements. Interface with end users, provide computer and network related technical support for all city personnel involved in computing.
Minimum Qualifications

• Must attend TCIC/NCIC security training within 6 months of hire date.
• CompTIA Security+, and/or other pertinent certification preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent technical training required;
• Windows networking skills, including knowledge of TCP/IP and Active Directory.
• Five years (or more) of network administration experience preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (or higher) certification desired
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and good driving record.
• An Associate's Degree and seven (7) years progressively responsible, closely related experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree
