Job Description

Summary:
The .NET Developer participates in the technical design and implementation of new products or enhancements. Participates all phases of the development cycle: concept, technical design, prototype, code development, testing, release, QA and implementation.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
A. Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
B. Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.
C. Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing

E. Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
F. Creates required technical documentation.
G. Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Participates in the definition and documentation of standards.
H. Collaboratively works with all teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
I. Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose issues.
J. Researches problems and develops solutions to the problems.
K. Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
Position Qualifications:
1. AS or BS degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 2 years’ software development experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Platform.
3. Minimum 2 years’ professional experience with C# .NET, SQL Server, and ASP.NET MVC 6.
4. DevExpress MVC and XtraReports
5. Understanding of object-oriented design principles and architectures.
6. Understanding of web services utilizing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
7. Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and source code branching strategies.
8. Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CMS, DHTML, MVC 4.0, XML, XSL, jQuery, Ajax).
9. Solid understanding of .NET security (Authentication/Authorization).
10. SQL programming skills with MS SQL.
11. Desired: Agile software development practices.
12. Desired: HL7 – CCD Structure, MDM, SOAP, WSDL.
13. Desired: Knowledge of HealthCare EMR and/or Physician Practice Management systems.
14. Experience with HealthCare ANSI X12 EDI Transaction Set is a plus.
