What to expect:


The Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP) is building the future leaders of the organization by exposing trainees to high visibility assignments in key functions within the business and assigning projects that add real value to the business while gaining broad exposure to all functions within the sales organization.


The accelerated 24-month development program provides immense opportunities to learn about NCP’s sales functions. These functions will include category development, commercial development, and field sales. Graduates utilize their knowledge, network, and experiences to propel their career forward as they explore multiple career paths throughout the organization.


Here is a breakdown of the leadership program:


Rotation 1: Category Development – Seattle based – 8-month rotation


The first rotation will provide participants with exposure to multiple teams that make up the NCP Category and Shopper Solutions organization. You will develop your coffee category knowledge, shopper behavior understanding, and data analytics skills to drive the creation of forward-looking category strategies. These skills build relationships with customers, drive category growth, and grow internal sales. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Shopper Marketing and Shopper Innovation & Experience teams. Nestlé Coffee Partners continues to deliver best in class thought leadership to the industry. In this rotation you will play an integral role in continuing that reputation.


Rotation 2: Commercial Development – Seattle based – 8-month rotation


During the Commercial Development rotation, participants will contribute to the success of NCP by leveraging customer, category, and shopper insights to help develop product specific go-to-market strategies and help serve as the conduit between marketing, operations, forecasting teams and our customer teams. You will experience how to best represent the voice of the customer to drive internal strategy and decision making, while also then delivering internal strategy back to the customer teams to drive the business priorities


Rotation 3: Customer Account Management – Field based – 8-month rotation


In the final rotation participants are required to relocate to support the customer account management teams in the field. You will have the opportunity to work face to face with customers and will contribute to increasing gross revenue, net revenue and achieving shared goals. with the assigned retail customer. You may work with key national customers such as Target, Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons, Costco or many more!


Program Graduation:


At the completion of your third rotation, you graduate and pursue a career within the Nestlé Coffee Partners sales organization. These highly sought-after positions are comprehensive, interactive and strategically coordinated into our sales department. You will capitalize on your experiences during the previous three rotations to excel in your next position.


Locations:


The opportunity is based in the Seattle, WA corporate office during the first and second rotation, but will require relocation throughout the country to support a field customer during third rotation.


Requirements:


Education:


  • Leadership in an extra-curricular activity or organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree conferred June 2024
  • Previous Sales Co-Op/Internship or other practical experience in a CPG industry preferred
  • Majors in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Sales Management,
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above Experience:
  • Data or Business Analytics, Agricultural Business
Other Requirements:


  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Able to build comprehensive presentations in PowerPoint
  • Agility to quickly learn and use Nestlé sales technologies and tools
  • Comfortable working in an independent and team setting
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and ability to utilize basic Excel functions
  • Demonstrate outstanding ability to embrace change and learn quickly in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Some travel required Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to relocate during the duration of the program
