Senior Azure Cloud And Platform Engineer(Remote)

The Cloud ALM Platform Automation (CI/CD Team) is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Azure Cloud Engineer specialized in containers technologies/platforms and CI/CD pipeline orchestration/automation. The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will work in the Cloud Platform Engineering organization to lead the engineering, including architecture, design, validation, and implementation of self-service and highly scalable CI/CD automation and containerization solutions on multiple compute platforms. The candidate is expected to have a solid experience in public cloud services such compute, storage, network, security, authentication/authorization, etc.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud services (compute, storage, network, security, authentication/authorization, etc.) in Azure
• Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team, take initiative, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Professional experience writing highly complex YAML code for containers orchestration on different compute platforms
• Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• 1+ experience designing, building, and maintaining Azure DevOps self-hosted agents or GitHub Runners
• 1+ year of experience automating IT tasks and processes in PowerShell or NET/C#
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 3+ years of professional experience designing, creating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and repos in Microsoft Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Some experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using terraform module/configuration
• 3+ years of extensive experience designing, building, running, and maintaining container images for different compute platforms such as Azure VMs and Scale Sets, Amazon EC2, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), Azure Container Apps (ACA), and Azure Container Instance (ACI)
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, AWS IAM, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth
• 2+ years of professional experience writing highly complex YAML pipeline code in both Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Professional experience writing highly complex docker files or other containerization technologies such as Podman, Kaniko, etc.

Education
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a computer related field.
Nice to have Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Azure Administrator
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Exam AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
