Lenovo's Solutions and Services Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in managing IT services and solutions marketing programs within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as the Senior Manager of North America Geography Marketing. The ideal candidate should possess a broad understanding of the tech industry, from hardware to software, services, and solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with the North America Solutions and Services team to develop authentic, impactful, consistent, and measurable campaigns and programs focused on IT services. You will also work closely with other colleagues in North America geography marketing to deliver integrated marketing initiatives across the full range of Lenovo offerings. Additionally, you will collaborate with our North American sales, enablement, and product marketing organizations, as well as our WW Marketing teams, to align with the business objectives and drive measurable growth.


The location for this position is flexible, allowing you to work either in-person at Lenovo's Morrisville (Raleigh-Durham) headquarters or remotely within the United States.


Responsibilities:


  • Cultivate relationships and develop joint plans with key alliance partners to achieve mutual success. Manage alliance partner MDF budgets to drive measurable ROI, high utilization, and error-free execution meeting partner requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Campaign and Media owners from the devices and infrastructure teams to plan and execute campaigns that effectively reach the target audiences, convey the message clearly, and achieve our goals.
  • Maintain close collaboration with the lead development team to ensure alignment on strategy, definitions, targets, reporting views, and results. Partner with the NA Sales team to accelerate lead closure.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify notable customer wins and develop them into marketable customer case studies for use in digital, social, and event tactics within marketing campaigns. Maintain the marketing relationship with related customers when applicable.
  • Define the end-to-end NA SSG marketing strategy and document it in annual and quarterly marketing briefs.
  • Lead with a People First approach, dedicating time and resources to foster discussions, celebrate diversity, and embrace the multitude of benefits that arise from diverse ideas and experiences. Additionally, contribute to building and evolving the team's marketing capabilities.
  • Promote the "Why Lenovo" story for SSG, ensuring that the strategy and content clearly articulate the value proposition.
  • Assist in developing the annual marketing budget for NA SSG Marketing and manage the quarterly marketing budget and associated operational activities.
  • Share segment insights with relevant marketing teams at the NA and WW levels.
  • Enable the direct and channel sales force by providing audience insights, campaign strategy, and specific collateral to support the go-to-market strategy effectively.
  • Generate New Contacts, Reactivated Contacts, and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that convert into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) to drive pipeline and revenue through effective marketing programs.
  • Partner with WW marketing teams to understand and support marketing priorities and goals, collaborating on campaign initiatives, and providing on-the-ground feedback.
  • Establish marketing objectives and KPIs, ensuring alignment across supporting teams.
  • Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the NA services sales and portfolio teams to understand and support SSG priorities and goals.
  • Own the target audience framework and associated messaging.
  • Work collaboratively with lower funnel and events owners from the devices and infrastructure teams to establish the NA SSG event strategy and partner with the Events team for optimal execution and leveraging of events.


Basic Requirements:


  • Minimum of 7 years of Marketing experience in an IT and/or technology company; relevant experience in communicating with or marketing to B2B services customers
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.


Preferred Skills:


  • Previous budget management experience required
  • Extensive experience building integrated go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working with alliance partners and managing or leveraging market development funds is required
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with both internal and external customers and partners
  • Experience executing key go-to-market field tactics such as customer events, sales enablement creation, channel co-marketing programs, promotions, etc.


The base salary range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $125 - $160k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
