Job Description
Overview and Essential Functions What you'll do... You will assist with the day-to-day execution of the inside construction of the project in accordance with the customer and industry specifications. Primary Job Responsibilities: Performs walk-out according to the design and reports back to construction Manager on the scope of the work, Time to complete the job, materials needed and crew needed. Communication with the Warehouse Manager for materials and direct the warehouse to begin staging materials for subs. This position will report to the Construction Manager if any materials are missing for completion of the project. Will Work with property managers to ensure door tag property 2 days before work is set to begin. Expected to provide Google Fiber street sheets for each day. Will coordinate traffic control if needed. ISP supervisor is expected to be onsite at the beginning of each work day to coordinate with the property and “hold keys”. ISP supervisor is opening and closing access to units and checking the units as work is performed. Door tagging units with “completed work”- Reports daily on progress to the Construction Manager daily. Ensures vendors and crew upload photos for review as milestones are reached throughout the day. OSP Supervisor will add a call-in locate number to the internal tracking system. Investigate all accidents and ensure all damages are reported to the Construction Manager and customer. Identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve. Responsible for the safety on the worksite including all employees/contractors on site and will conduct safety inspections. Assist crews as needed. Sends End of Day report to management daily Qualifications Qualifications: To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. With the ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively. Must have knowledge of installation of Fiber Optic Cable. Working knowledge and/or understanding of proper mounting and placement of NDP's Working knowledge and/or understanding of the correct ways to mount and run fiber. Working knowledge and/or understanding of how to splice fiber. Working knowledge and/or understanding of ISP construction on new or pre-existing built properties. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with all staff, customers and vendors. Must have the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines and prioritize daily workload. The ability to hire and train employees. One to two years of experience supervising employees and managing crews High school diploma or GED required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software. Must hold a valid driver’s license. General computer knowledge and knowledge in Microsoft office suites or related programs. Physical Requirements: Duties Outlines will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reach with hands and arms to spaces both high and low. Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, crawl, lift, hold or stoop for extended period of times Long Driving and Sitting will be required Ability to work in extreme hot or cold weather conditions Benefits and Company Summary What you will get…..
