Multimedia Studio Manager DarkStar Intelligence is actively seeking a Multimedia Studio manager to provide support to a fast-paced and dynamic education center of a government client in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities
Maintain the day-to-day operation of the multimedia studio, including recording and editing multimedia training, operating studio equipment, creating graphics, producing still photography, conducting field shoots, forecast equipment, and software needs, as well as testing and overseeing quality control of studio products.
Have a working knowledge of the proper operation of video monitors such as a program monitor, preview monitor, and input monitors; TV/production switcher; audio mixing board; linear/non-linear editor; storage (servers)- SAN; waveform monitor; vector scope; camera control units; VFR; speakers; video router/patch panel; sync generator; cameras and camera pedestals/ remote arms; lighting rigs such as ceiling mounted lighting grid, tungsten lights, and lighting control board; and microphones/microphone jacks.
Have up-to-date knowledge of industry multimedia studio production technology and techniques and be able to advise leadership on developments and best practices to maintain cutting-edge capabilities within DIA multimedia policies. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, computer science, graphic arts, visual communications, digital media art, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience with current technologies and equipment used to produce multimedia including video and still photos.
A certificate in multimedia, computer science, graphics arts, visual communications, or digital media arts along with 7 years of experience developing multimedia or digital media products is acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
