This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 1 pre-determined day per week in our mid-town office.
SUMMARY
The Cardiovascular Research Foundation is looking for a Multimedia Producer/Editor to work on our multimedia team. The perspective Producer/Editor will assist the Multimedia Manager with in-studio production as well as field shoots. Applicants should be comfortable working as a one-(wo)man-band on assigned projects. Production and post-production skills are a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to conduct field interviews independently as well as with team members.
- Strong ability to conceptualize storyboards from pre-production to post-production for social media and promotional purposes
- Deep understanding of all aspects of production - shooting, editing, lighting, audio, art directing, styling, and set decorating.
- Candidate must possess a solid understanding of software and technical skills in motion graphics/video editing.
- Assist multimedia manager to ensure external deliverables are met on time
- Participate in complex project and initiative discussions; take responsibility for and complete action items per schedule.
- Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years production experience.
- Must be proficient in digital editing systems Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X.
- Experienced shooting with DSLR and Professional Video cameras.
- Strong Production and Postproduction skills; motion graphics preferred.
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- A "can do" attitude and willingness to learn.
- Work experience in-studio production, a huge plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, Media, Art and/or graphic design or related areas.
- Must have a strong work ethic.

COMPENSATION
The hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. per year. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
