Position Title:Multi-Level Facilities Coordinator


Work Location:INL Site - INTEC


Shift Schedule:4x10


Salary Midpoint:\$99,465 - \$112,390


Position Purpose:


Overseedrills supporting Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) and Balance of Plant /Liquid Waste (BOP /LW) Operations, including backshift, weekends, and holidays, at the Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center (INTEC). Ensure crew personnel maintain required certifications and/or qualifications of their assigned tasks and their compliance with requirements for certified positions within SNF. Support SNF and BOP /LW with assessments as necessary to ensure readiness for operations as required by Department of Energy Orders and Idaho Environmental Coalition procedures. Assist the BOP /LW Nuclear Facility Manager and Facility Manager in qualifying in those roles to serve as a backup when necessary. Support BOP /LW Operations in coordination of work schedules, Daily Orders, and procedure changes. Work with various groups to support maintenance activities within BOP /LW for maintenance activities.


Responsibilities


Schedule and develop matrix for Operations Drills for the CARB and ESRB.


Coordinate activities with Emergency Management to support drills.


Support SNF and BOP/LW with start-up assessments as necessary.


Support SNF and BOP /LW with drills while performing the role of Operations Drill Coordinator.


Act as Conduct of Operations Mentor for BOP /LW.


Support of routine scheduled meetings.


Act as Alternate Facility Manager for INTEC non-nuclear facilities.


Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):


Applicable Bachelor\'s Degree plus 3 to 6 years of job related and at least 2 years of nuclear experience, or equivalent


Working level knowledge and experience in the nuclear operations, radiological controls, Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) implementation, Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance, Environmental Protection Practices, Health and Safety practices, and Lock Out-Tag Out program requirements


Working level knowledge INTEC\'s facility specific Safety Basis documents


Familiarity level of INTEC\'s permitted facilities and environmental requirements


Familiar with Category II Nuclear Operations and Conduct of Operations associated with the facilities


Special Requirements/Training:


Candidate will be required to qualify as or obtain the following:


  • Qualify as Primary Authorized Employee (LOTO)
  • Qualify as the Operations Drill Coordinator program lead
  • Act as a Conduct of Operations SME for BOP/LW
  • Qualify as the alternate Facility Manager (FM) for INTECs non-nuclear facilities
  • Own and track the findings of the INTEC POWER-Walk
  • Qualify as FIMS administrator
