Location: Various MTA Stations within 5 boroughs
Duration: Immediate Hire - Aug 2023 (Possible extension)
Shift: Full time; Monday to Friday

Role and Responsibilities:
The MTA Safety Inspector will be responsible for performing safety inspections, safety audits and compiling daily, weekly, and monthly reports. As well as, but not limited too: ensuring safety compliance of all site workers and the general public.

• Conduct accident investigations to ascertain causes and to develop preventive safety measures.
• Perform inspections and safety audits.
• Writing safety reports.
• Documentation and recordkeeping of all required inspections on the fulcrum app.
• Maintain daily site safety log and all other safety related activities including feedback from the competent persons, safety deficiencies, and corrective actions taken at each worksite.
• Assessments on various MTA projects.

Skills & Experience Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years’ safety and railway experience

Education and Certification Requirements:

• LIRR, MNR, AMTRAK and CSXT Track Safety Training (Preferred)
• 62 SST (Site Safety card)
• CHST (Certified Health and Safety Technician) certificate
• OSHA 30 Hour

Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s experience, education, and training. The estimated hourly range for this position is $60.00 – $65.00 and full benefits.
