Job Description

Summary

As an MRI Clinical Applications Specialist, you are responsible for driving and executing the clinical and educational processes and programs while developing strong relationships with customers in assigned market. As the MR education and applications account contact, the clinical applications specialist will create and direct training strategies, provide hands-on and didactic training through the implementation of university style curriculums and processes, support and assist the account to improve productivity, patient care and quality by optimizing user technical & clinical competencies, image quality, workflow and protocol management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, schedule and deliver objective based system / feature MR training and education support for customers over an extended period while demonstrating full range of product features, capabilities and benefits.
  • Drive consultative applications services discussions and recommend additional support options for customer solutions. Propose and deliver solutions based programs that drive productivity for the customer and growth.
  • Work with commercial teammates to develop strategy to ensure GEHC customers are satisfied with their GEHC system and utilizing their system to its fullest extent.
  • Execute domain expertise responsibilities as outlined in the “Priorities” of a MR Clinical Applications Specialist.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and education consultant to internal account community, providing clinical, technical and professional guidance and communicate progress and issues to internal GEHC team with respect to improving the customer experience and GEHC’s account standing.
  • Assist customer in advancing new product (NPI) features and imaging techniques. Partner with customer in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation and ongoing training needs.
  • Collaborate with commercial team in assigned market to drive sales growth and IB health. Work closely with commercial teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Execute training through rigorous implementation of skill checklists and assessments and drive thorough recording of outcomes. Communicate results to broad constituency.
  • Establish and drive relations, collaboration and partnerships with all department / relevant stakeholders. Engage with key opinion leaders on progress made and gain consensus on next steps/actions.
  • Liaison with department leads and work with key opinion leaders to assist in standardizing and optimizing protocols / imaging parameters and provide current state / progress updates to internal and external constituents. Facilitate best practice sharing amongst various account departments.
  • Act as focal point for modality / team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Demonstrated clinical skills, viewed as subject matter expert, to include advanced applications in respective modality.
  • Willingness to travel extensively 90+% (4-5 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the region with multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary.
  • Ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders in modality/commercial/service teams.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, self-directed, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic business environment and places personal and business integrity at forefront.
  • Experience in speaking, presenting materials relevant to diverse audience.
  • Experience in coordinating training for key accounts interfacing with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to craft well written training reports and communications to a diverse constituency. Working knowledge of Excel & Power Point.
  • Possession of ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Track record of exhibiting GEHC Beliefs behaviors. Viewed as positive role model for team. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 3+ years experience with GE MR modality
  • Demonstrated acumen in interacting with wide spectrum of constituents.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent and minimum of 3 years technical/clinical industry experience.

The salary range for this position is around $90k-125k or more annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
