JOB SUMMARY

Perform various driving, operating, material handling and related duties under the general supervision of The Director of Transportation, Receiving and Warehousing Operations, to assist in the movement and delivery of materials, supplies equipment, and passengers and in the removal of snow.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required to have a valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License. Must have a DOT certificate. Minimum of five years’ experience within transportation industry. Must have knowledge of local motor vehicle laws, OSHA, and DOT regulations. Must be able to work overtime during the week and weekends when needed. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other related duties as required and/or directed. Must be able to work alone and climb multiple sets of stairs, work off ladders, staging. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Employees in this position are considered Essential Personnel. This is a condition of employment. Permanent member of the Snow Team. Duties include being on call on a 24-hour basis during the winter months, shoveling snow and applying deicer, etc. This position requires a criminal background check.
