Moulder Operator Jobs

Hourly rate commensurate with experience
Reports to: General Manager
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for moulder set up and production including: moulder set up, continuous quality control checks and correct inventory documentation and tallies.
Manufacturing
Adhere to all moulding shop policies and procedures
Ensure all moulders are set up for the following day prior to leaving work each evening
Ensure that all moulders are turned on 15 minutes prior to the start of day shift
Sign and date drawings and samples prior to each run
Manage quality control throughout each run
Assist in moulding shop management and housekeeping
Assist in the staging of blanks for moulders
Schedule maintenance tasks and coordinate with production schedules
Work safely in an industrial environment and follow all the safety rules & responsibilities
General Safety Rules & Responsibilities
Follow all company safety policies
When working in a new area for the first time, ensure you have been properly trained on how to operate and the potential hazards in the area
Always Wear Required PPE Including

• Steel toed boots
• Hearing protection
• Gloves when handling moulder heads and rough lumber
• High viz Shirt and/or vest
• Safety

Lock out/tag out is to be practiced equipment should be locked out for safety before entering or working. Observe and respect locks and tags on equipment without tampering.
Observe all safety chains and posted KEEP OUT areas do not enter unless locked out
Know the locations of the fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency evacuation maps within each building/area
Forklift and truck traffic is heavy in most areas, pay attention to your surroundings at all time. Walk inside the painted lines at those locations that have marked pedestrian walkways
Report all accidents or potential hazards to the supervisor immediately
