Job Description
Veterans Preference
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Superintendent to provide desired results on each project
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Use anarray of hand tools to help clean milled surface in preparation for the paving operation
  • Operateand maintain a Broom Tractor / Power Broom
  • Sweep loose millings behind milling operation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely fashion
  • Operate a box blade, if equipped
  • Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
  • Load and unload equipment
Job Requirements
  • Ability to complete all required paperwork
  • Must have a valid Florida driver\'s license
  • Valid Driver\'s License (CDL a plus)
  • Troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
  • 1-3 years experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Employer conducts motor vehicle record check, drug testing and background check
