As a Mosquito Control Technician on the Mosquito Joe team, a typical day for you will include:
  • Communicating with customers by setting expectations and walking them through the process to guarantee exceptional customer service
  • Visually inspecting and treating for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests for the residential and commercial customer's properties
  • Maintaining chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
  • Operating a company vehicle safely
  • Handling pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations

(Required qualifications)
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to walk customer’s property while carrying equipment weight of over 60 pounds
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience (new hires will be trained and earned certification); prior pesticide experience preferred
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work outdoors, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws
  • Education: High school diploma or GED

  • Schedule: This is a full-time seasonal role. Position will end in October/November.
